Although I don't read as much sci-fi as I once did, I'm still a big sci-fi fan. These days I'm more particular in choosing which sch-fi novels I spend time reading. Since I really enjoyed this one, I've requested the third book in the series

I didn't read the first book in this series, but it appears each of the three novels in the series can be read alone.
