I'm something of a "popular neuroscience" junkie, and I read a lot of this type of book. This is the first one I couldn't finish. It's hard to determine who the intended audience of this book is. The author vascilates between information someone in the field would find boring and language that would be over a lay-person's head. Overall, he doesn't say much, and he takes a lot of time saying it. I gave up about 1/3 in.
