Very enjoyable, but what is it with these heroes who pair up with girls half their age? I didn't think that I'd end up liking the earl of Waverly as he was such a nasty villain in the first book, The Weaver Takes a Wife. But he redeemed himself by gradually shedding his reprobate habits and came to love his unexpected wife. A plus was that I got to revisit Helen and Ethan four years and several children into their marriage as they hit a snag in their loving relationship with Waverly's reappearance. And the epilogue is one of the most satisfying out there. 4 stars.
