The Mystery Writers of America presents this anthology of 12 short stories performed by several readers. Stories vary from murder and crime to tangled affairs of the heart and home, each offering its own puzzle. Every reader in the series delivers a polished, performance with believable dialogue and impeccable timing. The order of presentation creates a logical flow of topic and treatment. The star of the show is Paula Parker's twice-jilted Southern belle who decides to take fate into her own hands in "All You Need is Love." Parker's mastery of the Georgia dialect and her grasp of her character come together in a funny, scary, and ultimately satisfying conclusion.
