This book had potential but the delivery was choppy and halting. The characters felt very flat to me and I never got caught up in their problems no matter how dire they may be.
Glow tangles with some serious subject matter. The human race struggling to survive, the relationship between religion and corruption, and the desperation of a people lost in the vastness of space. But none of these topics ever mature beyond a basic good vs bad presentation. I could never decide what the author wanted to say about religion besides that sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad.
I wouldn't recommend it and I won't continue the series.
