Warrior woman not good enough for the storyteller? Please!! Where is some of that warrior cockiness? Her insecurity was really irritating to read. I enjoyed the hook up to the Warlord, Warprize, etc community, but didn't get any peek at how those characters were doing which I really REALLY wanted. Some things were also different - the horse choose the rider? The magic remained unexplained so understanding that storyline was impossible.
