Wow - I honestly could not put this down and finished it in about a half a day (and that was while working too). The second installment of the Indecent Proposals miniseries and it starts out where Shameless left off. Nina and Kevin appear from time-to-time but this one features Heidi who works at the bookstore.
Heidi has her life all planned out down to when she wants longtime boyfriend Jesse to propose. What she didn't have worked out was the attraction she was feeling for Jesse's best friend Kyle.
Kyle owes his life to his best friend, but somehow he can't get Jesse's girlfriend Heidi off his mind. He tries and tries to avoid being around her, but when the surprise birthday party plans throw them together the sparks fly and then Kyle knows he must have Heidi.
And wow do the sparks fly in this book. The Carrington's take on the edgy subject of cheating, but mix it in with finding the right person from you. I personally enjoy the edginess of their stories and this one was also hot!hot!hot!
