This is a quick murder mystery told by the jaded detective on the case, and it's full of enough cliche's to break you out in hives. However, if you like quick, puzzling "dead guy in locked room with key in his hand" mysteries, check out this book. It's a great read while waiting in a doctor's office, etc. Note that the cover (Paperjacksm May 1988) on the book we have has a door with a bloody knife in it; the brainstem at Paperjacks who selected this cover should be banned from the publishing industry.
