The very last thing that Sarai Curtiss needs is a hero, especially if that hero is in the form of Roman Novik. Or at least that is what she thinks. She is busy giving her life to God's cause as an American medical missionary in Russia. Cut off from radio and television, Sarai does not get the message that all foreigners are demanded to leave Russia soil at once.
Roman was requested by his good friend and Sarai's brother to get her out of the country. Should be easy right? However, he doesn't take into account Sarai's reluctance to leave.
Roman and Sarai once shared a past that ended with both hearts broken.

Exerpt from cover: "Faced with a corrupt government, a brutal military and the truth of their own deepest feelings, it would be a race against time to save the lives on the line - and the entire county at risk."

Susan May Warren spins a tale you won't soon forget. If you love action, intrigue and romance, this is the book for you.
