This is my favorite series by Patricia Veryan-the Golden Chronicles-and this is the last book in that series. It is excellent!! But you have to start with Book 1 and read in order. This book focuses on Roland Otton, a villain for Books 1-5, but we see another side of him in this book. Veryan is so good with characters--Roly is so real, there is good and bad to him. I felt sympathy for him while also being a bit angry with him. That's good writing!
