Dorothy Clark is a favorite of mine, and this book did not disappoint. I think she handled the lady with a past very well. Having recently escaped an abusive life and always looking over her shoulder, Viola tries to stay in the background as much as possible. But when her past is revealed, rumors and gossip soon divide the church congregation. Can the message of the new pastor bring healing to all, especially himself? "Judge not that ye be not judged."

I have not read the other books in the "Alaskan Brides" series, but the lives of Lana and Mack and Teena and Jacob are continued in this final book of the trilogy.

My only disappointment was in the cover art. The baby is described as having dark hair, and she has light brown on the cover.
