This had compelling world building but I found parts of it disturbing, like the threat of forced mating and a racist leader who taunts his own daughter about having been raped. If you're looking for werewolves I recommend the Patricia Briggs' series. If you like the one perfect mate concept I recommend Shannon Butcher.
