I previously enjoyed thrillers from Vince Flynn and Kyle Mills separately, but this one was a slog. I believe the main flaw is that the problem or predicament driving the plot is too murky and abstract for most of the novel to feel compelling, immediate and threatening. Also, here Mitch Rapp has little particularly personal at stake. So it came across to me as a thriller going through the motions. Sorry to report this!
