I enjoyed this book because it was unique. It felt like two books in one, as chapters alternated between Peyote Trip and his work in hell, and the lives of the Harrison family back on earth. The former is cleverly comedic, while the latter is a domestic thriller with a mystery. Ultimately the two story lines converge and there some surprising twists.
