I'm a big fan of David Levithan and felt that this book started out slow, but by the second or third chapter I could not put it down. Some of the writing style threw me off, as it is set in the future and would reference a history that didn't truly exist, but it made everything much more realistic. Like Levithan's other novels, this one is a real eye-opener, showing things that could possibly happen in our country (i.e. this story references the Greater Depression and The War to End All Wars).
