This book containing three separate stories of ladies meeting their grooms was very good .
The first story "Something Borrowed, Something True" had a story line that I really enjoy reading. The story is about a mail order bride. The twists and turns in this story really keep the story line moving.
The second story, "The Hand Me Down Bride", moved a bit slower then the first but kept you captivated with its twists and turns also. The story was about a young lady who travels far to supposedly marry her long time sweetheart, When she finally gets to her destination it is only to find that her true love has married another. The intrepid lady does not go home empty handed in the end.
The third story, "The Bride Wore Britches" followed a totally different direction. It was the story of a young lady who due to necessity and for her own safety has had to dress as a male. See what happens when she finally swaps her jeans for a dress!
Overall I enjoyed this book immensely.
