There was quite a few happy thoughts that are helping me get through a difficult period in life right now. It seems like I always pick up one of Barbara Johnson's books right when I need it the most. This book continues on with the rough story of the hardships her family went through and how she has found joy through the troubled time ... and helps others with this also through her Spatula ministry. I googled her name to see how she's doing now ... and discovered she died of cancer in July of this year ... 3 years after her husband, Bill had passed away.
