Excellent Sequel to SILKEN SAVAGE -
Begins in the Cheyenne village with the birth of the daughter to Cheyenne warrior chief A Panther Stalks and Little Wildcat.
Realistically and intelligently written, it was my pleasure to read.
I was surprised to note that some events occurred so very close to the 20th century. Very hard to grasp such atrosities by our US government continued to happened just over a little more than 100 years ago. (I guess things never change in our country where greed and racial hatred exits.)
Most of the story regards the Cheyenne living on reservation land in Oklahoma where they have been sent by the US government.
Again, this sequel is not for the faint of heart. In SILKIN SAVAGE it is easy to be repulsed by Gen. Custer's actions, and in this book I felt not one ounce of empathy at the events taken place at Little Big Horn.

Well written.
Another keeper for me that was impossible to put down until the last page.
