This book was about prostitution in the U.S. and how the average age of prostitution is 13 years old. It gave various situations and perspectives of what pimps do to lure in girls and gain control over them, what the girls go through in their conditioning, what some of the "Johns" might have a mindset of when they are going to them, what guardians might have to go through when they have a missing child, etc.
This book gave a fictional story (which is based off of real accounts of what many have gone through in which Linda Smith works with at Shared Hope) as well as general true facts at the end of each chapter to explain what goes on. It was very sad to read through and really helps you understand what goes on to these young girls in our country.
