The Only Plane in the Sky, written/compiled by Garrett M. Graff, is not a chronology of September 11, 2001 but an encyclopedia of reflections from people who experienced it. The vast majority of quotes are from those who were at one of the three impact sites, but it also includes President Bush and members of his entourage, memories of adults who were children of various ages on 9/11/01, and support staff involved with the three hijacked flights.

The audiobook is incredible, read by 45 actors and the author with Holter Graham as narrator. It also includes excerpts from actual recordings of speeches from President Bush and President Obama as well as communication between at least one of the hijacked flights and ground personnel.
I purposefully listened only while in my vehicle so I had breaks in the shocking and heartbreaking material. This is truly an important tome for our generation and all those to come.

God bless the memory of all who perished because of the terrorist acts on that fateful day.
