4th in the series and my least favorite. In the first book in the series we know the vampire brothers have a sister who died and now 200 years later they find her but she's a werewolf. She had been left for dead by the evil vampiress who changed the brothers but a bad werewolf took her to his pack and they nursed her back to health. The one knew she was 'special' and 'higher above' him so he mated with her and treated her like crap so when the story starts she's been away from him and the pack on her own. She's bought a farmhouse and does research to change from being a werewolf. She falls for a human male who's going through is own depression from his fiance dying years before. I think the sex is mostly like being in 'heat'..she's ashamed and tries to not want him and he's the same way. A lot of the book seemed to have a lot of shame unfortunately and just wasn't as funny/sexy as the first 2 books. I"m glad I read it to finish the series but if I'd read it first I probably wouldnt' have read any more by this author.
