This is just chick lit a smart 12 year old could write. What a soap opera! Written to read on the beach while on vacation I'm sure. Sooooo predictable.........4 strangers meet at a tropical island resort, each with a secret or fear she's unwilling to share. The cry fests could have flooded the hotel long before the hurricane finally hit!
The best thing about this book are the religious/spiritual scenes--they are very realistic given each woman's trying circumstance.
But overall it's just so bad I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Much better chick lit is available by Sue Monk Kidd (Traveling with Pomegranates) and Mary Kay Andrews (Savannah Blues) .
