Book Review of The Secret Life of Siegfried and Roy: How the Tiger Kings Tamed Las Vegas

Helpful Score: 1

Wow, I have always been a huge fan of Siegfried and Roy and bought this book because I thought it would talk more about their magic and how they did certain acts (seeing as this book was written by people that worked with them). But I was way way wrong. If this book is true (which I'm doubting) then wow, was I ever blindsided. The treatment of their animals in this book is horrible, especially with what they do to the dead ones. How Siegfried and Roy even act towards each other and women is disturbing. I just can't believe what this book put out there for us to read and learn. Again I'm guessing it's just like another one of those tabloid magazines where you can't believe everything you read. It was still an interesting read as it gave me things to look for next time I go back to Vegas (like are the cats really declawed ((a thing Roy swore he never did)), etc etc.
