Yawn. I've read books 1-25 and sadly have to say that the author needs to go off track for a change. Could've said this ten books sooner... The formula in the Andy Carpenter book series never varies from one book to another. The core characters are always the same (which is fine) and the only difference being the client and the "meat" of the law case. The telling of the story is interesting and well thought out, which is why I give this a three-star rating. But c'mon, it wouldn't take a lot to vary the formula, would it?? (NOTE: I'm purposely not discussing the formulaic structure of the stories, so as not to give any spoilers.)
