I really liked this book. It is always great to read about characters that you have met in previous books. My favorite parts in this book are about the dogs that are trained and used to recover people and things. Alex Kava makes these sweet four legged animals come alive with her descriptions. She nails their emotions and you can feel their love and devotion.
I look forward to more Ryder Creed books. Alex Kava is a wonderful writer.
