Frederik Pohl and other Sci-Fi authors (Andre Carneiro, Harry Harrison, Brian Aldiss, Karl Michael Armer, and others) have all written a series of short stories that have the same theme: beings from other planets possess humans and engage in an interstellar conference on Earth. Both fun and creepy!
