One of the best books I've read this year! I have put all the author's other books on my wishlist. I will not reiterate the plot since 2 previous reviewers have done a great job with that.
What did I enjoy about this book?
1) the characters are complex
2) it satisfied the history geek in me-the story is set in London and the 1780 anti-Catholic riots contributes to the action
3) a strong main female character
4)a engrossing mystery
