This book is a disappointment because there wasn't much to the story, except the kissing and the anticipation of their vows. Miss Collette Jones is illegitimate and has decided to become a teacher. Her illegitimacy soon leads to her being fired, and then she meets the duke and marries him. There was precious little to this plot. I cannot imagine where the 4.6-star rating comes from. I won't be reading any more in this series. I prefer Regency novels that are more in line with the time.
