Could only read two of these stories, just don't understand the concept. These stories rambled on and on, never getting to any point, much less 'brief encounters of the romantic kind.'

I hope other readers enjoy his writing. I read My Italian Bulldozer which was somewhat enjoyable. Smith's writing style is very basic, it's almost like reading a high school student essay. Not for me!
