The book is a gripping tale of a survivor of the Holocaust
from Hungary and into Poland. The book is very detailed and descriptive; not a book for someone who is sensitive. It tells the haunting story of one Jewish family in the concentration camp, their survival through it all. The author's mother, and herself were the only survivors in her family. The book is a great read, written by a very talented author, capturing the life within the prison-camp, aboard the transport trains, and other various circumstances.
