Summary:
Kelly goes through autobiographical stories from childhood through to adulthood. She jumps around throughout her life.
My thoughts:
Honestly, I enjoy Oxford's twitter. I think her witty comments are hilarious. I'm not a huge fan of tumblr, so I haven't read a lot of her longer posts, but the tweets are fun. This book is not nearly as funny as her twitter account. I guess the lengthier stories are just too much for me. Part of the reason that I enjoy Oxford's twitter is because she doesn't come across as better than everyone else. In this novel, I think that she does EVERYTHING to say that she is better. She's too pretty, too smart, and too braggy! I don't know how you keep an audience that you are basically putting down by saying your better than everyone else. Did anyone in publishing notice how off putting the read was? Even though the title includes that everything is perfect when you're a liar, but I think she honestly believes that she is perfect.
