Fantastic blend of urban fantasy & paranormal and historical romance. Evans gives us a new, interesting twist on the Sleeping Beauty tale. Awaking to a living nightmare, Rose finds revenge by becoming a feared ogre slayer. With a mysterious and sexy fairy on one side and an irresistable vampire on the other, she is torn by her fate and her loves. This book instantly grabs you, and keeps you hooked right up until the end. The type of book you want to call in sick to work to read! I absolutely adored this book and am anxiously awaiting the next installment, "The Prince of Frogs." 4.5 stars--a rating I rarely give.
