I read this book many years ago and remembered loving it so I ordered a copy through PaperBack Swap. I enjoyed it just as much the second time around. The author has clearly done her research. I felt the historical accuracy was excellent. Reading the book I could almost see the houses and towns described. Another thing I enjoyed about this book is the independent and strong female main character.
