From the Author: My memoir is pretty much true, Oh, sure, occasionally I'll work in a little fiction for a change of pace and to relieve the monotony. If I stick to the unembellished truth for too long at a stretch, I tend to tense up, get a headache...
I say: Another good book from that wonderfully humorous outdoorsman Patrick McManus. This time he teams with his sister the Troll (actually, Patricia) and so their are tasty, simple recipes in this book. Also some of McManus' famous camping recipes like Elk Camp Green Hash, plus some really gourmet ones from special cooks.
