The author's take on, and remake of, the beautiful strange surrealist comic strip by George Herriman. The book will disappoint some in its late 20th century traditional injecting of sex (the strip already had violence) and Ignatz's Jewish angst. It will delight others in riffing on the basic love triangle of Offissa Pup, Ignatz Mouse and Krazy Kat.
