Book Review of Wade (Louisiana Gentlemen, Bk 5)

Wade (Louisiana Gentlemen, Bk 5)
Helpful Score: 2

I thought this was a wonderful book, though it deals with some pretty tough subject matter. It's about a woman who is from the states, but her mom married a Hazaristan man and so she moved there with her mother in her teens. Now a grown woman with having lived through seeing her mother killed in the street trying to save a child from dogs, she considers it her mission in life to help the cause of women throughout Hazaristan at her own peril from her step-brother, a head member of the Taliban. When given the chance to escape the harsh conditions to go home, she refuses until her stepbrother tells her he will marry her or she will die. So her rescuer helps get her back to the states, where her step-brother has followed. All the while, she has been falling in love with her rescuer. A big fight ensues in the backwoods of Louisiana. It was a great read altogether. :)
