I have to tell you I hadn't even heard of these books until I seen the movie coming to theaters. I thought it was some "stupid" teen movie and book series and never gave it a second thought...UNTIL a friend of mine (an adult friend) recommended I read twilight. Okay, so I read it in 2 days and I have 3 kids!!
Yes, it is make believe and romance that will never happen in the real world but it took me back to my childhood. I remembered that feeling of "1st love" and I enjoyed every minute of every book in the series. I am REALLY surprised at all the bad reviews on here because I have heard nothing but good about these books.
I like the fact there is nothing of sexual nature in these books so it really does make a good read for a teenager.
