Admittedly, I shy away from Magic books on principal. But having studied the lore that this cycle was based off of for some time, I couldn't
help but take a peek into it. I've read the entire trilogy, and this is THE best book in the trilogy. Although there is some stereotyping and cliche, it definitely weaves a unique tale, and even fleshes out some of the races (more than others) further than I expected. The characters are wonderfully charming, for the most part.
