After reading all the criticism this book received, I really thought that I was going to hate it (#5 in the series was my least favorite, and all the reviews of #6 kept me from reading it for a year).

I will agree with the naysayers that there are some problems with this book. Some plot holes and some really head-scratching turns. (A voice in someone's head called "The Wizard"? Why not just call it "The Voice"? LOL The whole wizard thing had me thinking about pinball machines. And there were some other issues where characters did not behave as they had been previously written.

However, there were some very redeemable things in this book. (I don't want to write any spoilers.). It was worth the read. Not my favorite in the series, but not my least favorite either.

If you are new to these books, you HAVE to start at #1. Otherwise, they make no sense.
