summary:

Enrico wants a wife and family even though an accident has left him unable to walk. So he proposes to Gianna, a long time family friend who has been in love with him forever. She agrees to marry him, but lives with the fear that once he is back on his feet he won't really want her anymore and will go back to his ex-fiancee'.

commentary:
This is a story about a man who has lost the ability to walk and is struggling with not feeling like a man anymore. I liked this book because it deals with sexual insecurity in a man, which is something we don't often see in a romance novel. Another element I like is how she has known him forever, and has always loved him but he never really noticed her until a life changing event makes him take notice. As always, Lucy Monroe tells a terrific story!
