I had high hopes for this book. I had never read this author before. Suffice to say, I will probably never read anything of his again. This book was A-W-F-U-L! I found myself skimming through most of it just to get to the point. When I finally did, what a disappointment. I love animals and am actively involved in fostering and rescue. The dog on the cover looks exactly like my Aussie. I really wanted to like this book. Now I just want to get it out of my house before I throw it through a window.
