Another juicy tale about a Carpathian Hunter, Aidan Savage. He meets his lifemate, Alexandria, while rescuing her from the clutches of a vampire. Alex must be one of the stupidest heroines of this series. Aidan saves her life several times, provides a safe haven within his home for her and her brother Joshua, and treats her with care and kindness. Yet she persists throughout most of the story, to fear Aidan may be a vampire. That's when she believes he's a vampire; other times she believes Aidan really has some evil plan that he'll spring on her somewhere down the road. All these suspicious feelings, yet she's supposed to have psychic abilities. Of course, like all Carpathian males, Aidan is tall, muscular and just plain gorgeous. Except he's blonde instead of dark. Alex is described as beautiful, petite and curvy. Does Feehan know that if Alex doesn't want Aidan there are lots of women reading this book who wouldn't mind at all taking Alex's place. Make him forget about this lifemate thing....or put together a tour to the Carpathian mountains; women only. Despite Alex's attitude, untill she succumbs to Aidan's charms, this story is definitely a good read.
