When I was a youngster, I would get up on Saturday mornings before my parents did, go out to our enclosed breezeway where the TV was and watch old movies. I really enjoyed all the Little Rascal shorts and still remember many of them to this day. So I was delighted when this book passed thought my hands while sorting donations at a non-profit thrift store.

Most of the book consists of descriptions of the plots of each short or movie, as well as the actors for each. After about a dozen pages of this I realized I wasn't interested in each plot. But many of the pages in the back of the book cover other aspects of the Little Rascals, including merchandising. I really liked reading about each actor, how they were 'discovered,' hired, their acting abilities, and what they did after they became too old to continue in their roles. And I was amazed to read about Little Rascal actors ---like Dickie Moore and Robert Blake---who later played roles in full length movies whom I didn't realize were once Little Rascals.

Another interesting aspect of each biography were the people who often claimed to be Little Rascals but never were. And then there was the interesting quotes from Little Rascals who reflected upon their time with the group.
