An overview section on how sellers price wicker pieces and why they may vary significantly is useful regardless of the publish date (1987). Other great overview chapters cover the different kinds of wicker, care and repair of wicker, and how to date wicker pieces. The rest of the book is divided into sections according to the types of furniture covered: chairs, tables, baby and children's furniture, plant stands, specialty pieces, etc. The book is full of pictures which provide a great feel for the types of wicker out there. The prices given for every photographed piece are 1987 prices, but, keeping that in mind, provide a good reference point for today's shoppers.
