This book kind of surprised me. I originally got it for my daughter, who devoured it in a day and told me, "Get me the sequel when it comes out!" Since she enjoyed it so much, I decided to read it too...
I have to admit- it drew me in right away. While I felt that the author could have maybe done a little bit more with each character's development, the story itself was rather interesting. It was nice to read something that didn't require me to keep so many characters straight for a change! I also read this in a day- the book kept pulling me back to it. The story has a little bit of ghost haunting, but not enough to be too scary. There's a little bit of a mystery and a little romance in there too. I will be looking for the sequel when it comes out, to see how the story continues.
