Helpful Score: 1
Although slim, this volume of stories is engrossing. Some of the stories are from the author's life, and others were shared with him by friends and family. Almost all have to do with coincidences and the twists of fates that one expects from O. Henry's fictional stories. However, if we are to believe the author, all the stories in this volume are true.
Auster's writing is spare, yet his prose is very descriptive. Those who enjoyed "I Thought My Father was God..." will find much to appreciate here.
