4.0 out of 5 stars A fabulous read, June 2010
A touching, mature story of romance by Anne Mather. Mature, insightful and memorable. Definitely one of my favourites.
This is a poignant love story filled with passion and tenderness of an older woman and a younger man who meet during their
overnight stay en route to the Caribbean. The heroine is invited to dinner by a stranger, thinking she is safe in the anonymity of a strangers advancestheir night develops into a night of passion. You can feel outrage for the heroine since she is subject to her friend's machinations of pity and condescension by her ex-husband, which the hero constantly foils.
This is a book that mature women can enjoy and appreciate and share the irony of romance.
