Loved this book!! I was hooked in the first few pages of Chapter One with Mary and what was coming out of her mouth! Many times I laughed out loud loving her sassy remarks. I found myself eagerly awaiting the next crazy thing she would say. I do wish there was more interaction between her and the child. Mary was a refreshing character and well developed.
Was this book perfect? No, but I still loved it. Great book and I will keep it for now (which I rarely do.) This was my first read by this author and I will be checking out her other books.
P.S. The synopsis on the back of the book isn't the description on PBS. The back of the book just doesn't fit now that I've read the book.
