This novel is about a black woman dealing with being HIV positive. She was a successful hairdresser in Atlanta a - she sold her shop and went to spend the summer with her older widowed sister before moving to San Francisco and starting a 'new life.' I found this glimpse into a world I do not live in to be very interesting. The author was open and honest. I recommend reading it.
