Very disappointing book. Can't remember now why I wanted to read it except that I usually like these kinds of friends for life books. It seemed to me that there was not enough information at the beginning about the 3 friends when they were children to cause me to form a bond with them. Consequently, I never really cared what happened to them as adults and I didn't like any of them.
I should have stopped reading about halfway through like I wanted to, but I continued on to the end and curse myself for doing so. It was a complete waste of time.
